EESA FEST 2026

, WOBR AMP Woods-Brown Outdoor Amphitheater

Updated 2/24

EESA Fest is a vibrant celebration of the rich and diverse elements within Habesha culture, highlighting how our traditions, creativity, and community continue to thrive in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area. This event is in collaboration with fellow EESA chapters from DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Set for April 4th (3pm-7pm), this annual event is a unique opportunity to share Habesha culture with the broader AU community while showcasing its deep-rooted presence and influence in the DMV.

This event is more than just a cultural showcase- it serves as a networking space for Habesha College students to connect with local artist, entrepreneurs, and community leaders. By fostering meaningful relationships within the Habesha diaspora, we create collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities. As its core, EESA Fest celebrates intersectional identity, embracing the diverse experiences that shape our community. Through live music, traditional and modern art, food, and engaging activities, we aim to create an immersive experience that honors both our heritage and the evolving expressions of Habesha identity in the U.S.
