Supporting Inclusive Learning Environments through Ethical Reasoning

, MGSC 305-306 Combo Meeting Room

Updated 8/28

This interactive workshop explores how ethical reasoning can strengthen equity-minded teaching and support more inclusive learning environments. Faculty professional development often addresses equity without explicitly connecting it to ethics; this session highlights that missing link. We will share findings from a qualitative study of a faculty learning community that used the Ethical STEM Framework, a curriculum designed to help instructors reflect on ethical practice in teaching. Attendees will leave with practical ideas for using ethics as a tool to advance equity at the classroom, department, and institutional levels.
