Additionally, on February 23rd, Professor Martin was part of the conversation on Equal and Inclusive Representation of Women in Decision-Making Systems, a relevant discussion on the importance of women’s influence for the legitimacy and effectiveness of international bodies. This significant dialogue was co-sponsored by GQual (@GqualCampaing), the Geneva Academy Of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights (@Geneva_Academy), and the World Trade Institute (@WTIunibe) of the Universität Bern (@unibern).

On the same day, the Co-Director of the Academy shared her experience regarding women’s careers in International Law during a panel discussion co-hosted by the Geneva Academy (@Geneva_Academy), Atlas Women (@Atlas_Women), and GQual (@GqualCampaing). Through her participation, she inspired women to “stick to your dreams and keep believing you can change the world”.
