TID assists students in searching and securing practical learning opportunities in trade law at the Office of United States Trade Representative (USTR), International Trade Commission (ITC), Department of Commerce (DOC), the WTO in Geneva, and trade law firms in the US and abroad.
TID also accepts applications for internship/externship opportunities working on pro bono projects at law firms practicing international trade law. These opportunities include potential positions with: Sidley Austin LLP in Washington, D.C.; Veirano Advogados in Sao Paolo; King & Spalding working in D.C. or remotely with their offices in Geneva and London; and with Barral M Jorge Consultores Associados in Brasilia, Brazil. These opportunities are available to WCL students with some experience in WTO law for the Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions.
