Casie's Story

Drawn to American University because of its proximity to opportunities in Washington, DC, standout academic programs, and professors who bring real experience into the classroom, Casie Peterson chose to transfer to AU and has since become a strong advocate for transfer students with AU's Transfer Advisory Board.

The students I work with and the professors I learn from have both played a huge role in helping me grow, not just as a student but also as a future public relations and marketing professional," Casie said.

When asked about the recommendations she would give to students who are considering transferring to AU, Casie advised,
