Fall 2025 Recruitment Wrapped

With our AU Admissions team back from the road (and around the world), it’s time for the official transition from recruitment to reading season.

As we go full steam ahead into application reading season, we had to take a moment to stop and reflect: Our fall 2025 travel and recruitment season was one for the books. From our AU Admissions family to yours, we want to thank you for continuing to engage with us—whether on the road, on campus, around the globe, or virtually.

As always, we hit the road (and the runway) to connect with you all.

Our admissions recruiters completed:

  • 10 transfer fairs

  • 92 area interviews

  • 102 college fairs

  • 1,116 high school visits 

We hit a total of 32 states plus Puerto Rico and Washington, DC. 

Our international travel spanned 13 countries, including India, China (+Hong Kong), Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, Vietnam, UAE, Panama, Mexico, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Brazil.

But the connection didn’t stop there. 

Our admissions representatives also: 

  • Participated in two group travel cohorts: College Connections with Loyola Marymount University and Baylor University, and Destination DC with the George Washington University, Howard University, and Catholic University. 
  • Engaged with 15 community-based organizations 

  • Hosted 18 virtual events, in addition to panels, information sessions, daily campus tours, and more!

We engaged with 12,800+ prospective students. 

Across recruitment events, regional info sessions, and 1:1 interviews in our Welcome Center, overall engagement and total events are up 11% from last fall. On-campus interviews are up 20%. 

We always have more in the works. 

With more virtual and local events still to come, we are continuously looking for ways to engage more closely with our prospective students and families. We hope our enthusiasm for connecting with students and sharing the AU story has had as much of a meaningful impact on you as it has on us.

Now on to reading season—we already can’t wait to welcome many of you as #AU2030 Eagles before you know it. If you haven’t yet, we encourage you to submit your Common Application to AU either as an Early Decision II applicant or Regular Decision applicant by our deadline of January 15.
