Are you ready for hands-on research experience?
Undergraduate research assistants are a vital part of the IELab and all of our ongoing research. We hope to provide you with research experience, mentorship, career help, and a community of researchers. No prior research experience is necessary to join us! To help you get the most out of your research experience and training, we do request a 2-semester minimum commitment. As an undergraduate research assistant, you may be involved in: data collection, recruitment efforts, literature reviews, data cleaning, data analysis, IRB applications, and more.
Competitive applicants will have:
- Completed a course in Research Methods (required)
- An overall GPA of 3.5 or higher (preferred, but applicants with lower GPAs will be considered)
- Selected a major in Psychology (preferred, but applicants from other majors will be considered)
- A strong interest in research and attending graduate school (preferred)
We periodically recruit for additional research assistants. If you are interested in joining our lab as a research assistant, please fill out our research interest form and you may be contacted for an interview when we need additional research support.
