Each SIS department is an intellectual home for faculty working across similar or related disciplines, topics, and themes. Led by a chair, each department also includes a director of graduate studies and an undergraduate faculty coordinator selected from among that department's faculty. Each department is professionally staffed with administrative and programmatic support team members.
