Let's Work Together

Partner With RIPPLE

  • RIPPLE seeks to build collaborative relationships with courts, pretrial services agencies, prosecutors, public defenders, jails, policymakers, community organizations, and others working on issues related to pretrial justice.
  • Partnerships can take many forms, from answering a specific policy or practice question to analyzing existing administrative data, evaluating programs or policy changes, and developing longer-term research collaborations.
  • You do not need to have a fully developed research question to reach out. If there is an issue you are trying to understand, a policy or practice you want to examine, or a question your organization has been asking, we can work together to determine how research might help.

What Happens Next?

  • After you reach out, a member of the RIPPLE team will review your submission and follow up to learn more about the question, challenge, or opportunity you have identified. From there, we can discuss what information or data may be available, whether research could be useful, and what a potential collaboration might look like.
  • Not every question requires a large research project. Depending on your needs, next steps might involve an initial conversation, identifying and refining research questions, exploring existing data, or discussing opportunities for a more formal research partnership.
  • Submitting an inquiry does not commit you or your organization to a project. It is simply a starting point for a conversation.
