Emergency Fund

The Division of Student Affairs provides emergency funding to students in need. This fund was created to support students facing unexpected, immediate, and temporary personal hardship. By offering emergency funding, Student Affairs aims to help students navigate unforeseen circumstances without disrupting their lives at AU.

The Emergency Fund is available to enrolled AU students, including graduate students, and is awarded on a case-by-case basis. Funding requests will be provided based on the amount of funds available to disburse. All requests will be reviewed, but not all requests may be approved. Once a request is made, it may take several weeks for a case to be fully reviewed and processed, but a professional staff member will be in contact with each student who makes a request.

Funds provided will be determined on a case-by-case but will average from $250 to $1500. Please note that you may not receive the entire amount of support you request.
